PromiseTracker is a Code for Africa tool that helps journalists and civil society track whether politicians and governments actually deliver on their promises. It logs individual pledges and rates their status over time using official evidence and crowdsourced information, following a transparent methodology so each rating can be justified.

It's organised by country, then by leader, then by individual promise, which is the structure you saw across the Kenya and William Ruto pages. It's run with PesaCheck and partners like The Star and Meedan, and it's fully open: Creative Commons content, code on GitHub, data on openAFRICA.
